The gear pic shows where the gear interferes with the housing. The gear does NOT need to be modified. The inner mod pic shows where to remove the material for clearance. The housing is aluminum and machines easily. Doing the machine work BEFORE installing the bearings keeps the shavings out of the bearings. Fits: 02-up LT-f 250 Ozark & LTZ 250.
