10 pack of EWCe-2, 2% Ceriated (Gray) Tungsten Electrodes for TIG Welding. Normally use for welding titanium alloys, copper alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminum alloys, nickel alloys, low-alloyed steels and stainless steels. All size of 6" (150mm) or 7" (175mm) in length and 0.04" (1.0mm), 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.4mm) 1/8" (3.2mm) 5/32" (4.0mm) in Diameter. EWCe-2 electrodes containing ceria, compared to pure tungsten, include increased ease of starting, improved arc stability and reduced rate of vaporization or burn-off. Unlike thoria, ceria is not a radioactive material. EWCe-2 electrodes operate successfully with alternating current or direct current, either polarity.
